Matt has a varied background in financial analysis and investment management. Before joining Providence, Matt served as the investment analyst at Murchison Capital Partners ("MCP"), where he performed financial analysis, conducted due diligence, and provided investment recommendations. At MCP, Matt helped manage a diverse portfolio of public and private investments and worked directly with the Chief Investment Officer. Prior to MCP, Matt was a Business Analyst at Capital One, where he utilized SQL and Excel to generate actionable data impacting revenue growth and operational efficiencies.
He earned a BBA in Finance from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin. Matt is actively involved with YoungLife ministry where he serves alongside his wife. He grew up in Southlake, TX. In his spare time, Matt enjoys playing tennis and golf, and following the Texas Longhorns.
